"Theology in the New Millennium: Where We are Going, and Why"

Wednesday February 23 at 7pm in the Xavier Annex Room 203 the Theology Club will sponsor a Visually based lecture on the "Theology in the New Millennium: Where we are Going, and Why" by J.J. Mueller SJ. It will speak about specific trends and trajectories within theology exemplified through the use of visual art (e.g. Botticelli, Vermeer, Goya, O'Keefe, Blake, & Caravaggio). Art and Theology will work together to present the future of theology. All are welcome.

The theology club provides an opportunity for undergraduate students and faculty to come together and share ideas, questions, and passions for theology in an informal and social environment. We hold discussions monthly of a pertinent theological topic, hoping to assist in the process of applying theology to one’s life. We welcome students and faculty of all specialties and insights are shared that benefit all those present. Acting Theology Club president for 2004-05 Tina Modde (pictured at right) says, "If you have an interest in theology and would like to become member or just see what we are all about, please join us! Anyone of any major is welcome—the theology club is not restricted to only theology majors and minors."
